Meet Jodi Runfalo, our dedicated Operations Manager at Bonaventure Dental Care. Since joining us in 2016, Jodi has brought over 13 years of dental field expertise to our team. Her commitment to professional growth is evident through courses with Dale Carnegie and Louisiana State University HR Professionals, as well as her graduation from the Ascension Parish Leadership Program.

As a proud member of the American Association Of Dental Office Management, Jodi is passionate about service and patient care, ensuring every interaction is personal and positive. She takes great pride in contributing to her community and thrives on enhancing the dental experience for patients.

Outside of the office, Jodi loves to explore new places with her husband, Dr. Clay Runfalo, and their daughters, Carlyle and Josie. Her life is enriched by the joy of travel and family, fueling her passion for building a welcoming and efficient dental environment for everyone she meets.

Alexis is the Clinical Coordinator of Bonaventure Dental Care. Alexis grew up in Arkansas before moving to Baton Rouge for LSU, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and her Masters in Healthcare Administration. She is always eager to learn and help patients feel as comfortable as possible. In her spare time, Alexis enjoys traveling with her husband, Alex, and their black labs, Brody and Riley.

Dani has been a dental hygienist at Bonaventure Dental Care since 2015. She grew up in Maurice, LA and received her RDH degree in Chicago, where she lived for 20 years before moving to Baton Rouge in 2014. She loves spending time with her husband and 2 boys and drinking wine. Dani enjoys spending time educating patients and making them feel comfortable at our dental office. Her specialty is telling cool dad jokes and driving Dr. Bonaventure crazy.

Jenna joined the Bonaventure dental team in January 2021. She grew up in Donaldsonville, LA. Jenna earned her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from LSU School of Dentistry in 2009. Jenna enjoys educating patients about their oral health and getting to know them. She enjoys spending time with her son, Ethan, and her family and friends.

Lauren started working in the dental field in 2018 and joined our team in 2021. She grew up in Marksville, LA and now lives in Walker, LA. She attended the Baton Rouge Dental Assistant Academy where she earned her dental assisting certification. Her goal as an assistant is to help patients achieve their optimal smile goal, along with a positive experience. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, Lane, and 2 children, Asher and Amelia. 

Nancy is our Hygiene Scheduling Coordinator. Nancy joins us after 15 years of experience with Dr. Megison’s dental office. She is a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Prairieville, Louisiana. She has been married to her husband Kerry for 35 years and they have two adult children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family and friends.

Brittany joined the Bonaventure Dental Care Team in February of 2022 and has been a registered dental hygienist since 2018. She grew up in Thibodaux, LA and received her bachelor of science in dental hygiene from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Brittany enjoys educating on the importance oral hygiene and creating a positive overall experience for her patients. Brittany is a huge LSU fan, and coaches the LSU Cheerleading team.

Nancy is our Hygiene assistant who joined our team in 2021. Nancy was born in Juarez, Mexico but she grew up in El Paso, TX. She graduated from Trident Technical college as a certified dental assistant. She has been married to her husband Todd for 34 years and they have 3 adult children. In Nancy’s spare time she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, having fun outdoors, and traveling.

Margaret is one of our dental assistants who joined our team in October 2023. She grew up in Baton Rouge and feels rewarded getting to help treat patients in her own community. She attended St. Joseph’s Academy then LSU where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. Margaret enjoys both the science and creative aspects of dentistry and strives to provide excellent care to all of our patients. In her time outside of work, Margaret loves cooking and spending time with her husband, Matt, and their dog, Lele. Together they enjoy maintaining an active lifestyle and traveling.

Anna is a dedicated and compassionate dental assistant with over 4 years of experience in providing exceptional patient care and support. She is passionate about assisting dentists in delivering top-notch dental services while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. She grew up in Iberville Parish and Outside of work, she enjoys relaxing with her dog, Harlee, hanging out with her friends, and traveling.

Valerie joined Bonaventure Dental in October of 2023. She grew up in Crowley, Louisiana. Valerie earned her Bachelor of science in Dental Hygiene from LSU school of Dentistry in 2022. Her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is getting to know each of her patients and making sure they leave with a beautiful healthy smile. In her spare time, Valerie loves spending time with friends and family and loves to go shopping!

Aya is one of our dental assistants who joined our team in 2023. She grew up in Geismar, LA and graduated from Dutchtown High School in 2022. She then attended the Baton Rouge Dental Assistant Academy where she earned her dental assisting certification. She is committed to learning new things and expanding her knowledge in dentistry. Her goal is to provide patients with a positive experience. In her spare time, Aya enjoys boating, watching Netflix, and spending time with her cats and boyfriend.
